Hi,
I’m Cheryl Weeks, founder of Simply Going Places. Welcome to our site.

 

First, a little about me. My first travels were in my family car as a child. It didn’t take me long to get hooked. (That's me in front of our family trailer at the right.)

 

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for you) I had less money than my growing interest in travel could afford. I also worked full time and didn’t have a lot of time for my trips. So, I’ve spent the last 25 years refining ways to travel on a budget; traveling in a relaxing way - even with little time, and simply getting to know the cultures I travel within.  I’ve traveled from Iceland and Europe to Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean. The great thing is that many of these trips cost me less than $100 a day and some costing substantially less, including airfare.
